How much will it cost to hire a professional
writer?
|
After a no-obligation
Q&A session, I will provide a flat rate quote and a simple agreement
outlining responsibilities and time frames. |
|
|
|
Contracted amounts will be payable at specific milestones that
we determine before I ever begin. In other words, you
will know ahead of time exactly what
deliverables you can expect, when you can expect them,
and how much is due at that
point. |
|
|
|
Two rounds of revisions are included in the
contracted price. In other words, if you want some things changed after
the first draft, no problem. Think it needs a little tweaking the
second time around? Still no problem. The original price we
agree on lets YOU determine when the copy is just right! Revisions beyond the
first two, if any are required, will be billed at an
hourly rate. |
What if I
need a professional writer for a really big project?
|
Once we define the
scope of work you need done and agree on a price, work
can begin immediately in most cases. Some jobs take
as little as an hour, while others can last for months.
|
Will you work from home or on
site?
|
That depends. Normally
you won't hear from me until I have your project ready for review. However,
if I need to interact with members
of your organization to perform interviews or collect
information, I can work on site.

Good writing doesn't just happen. It takes effort and
a commitment to find the special angle that lifts it above the ordinary.

Still relying on your own employees to write letters, sales material or web site
copy in their spare time?
Engineers, HR managers, administrative assistants - all are trained to do
specific tasks. You wouldn't want your IT specialist preparing your
payroll. Why would you ask a Human Resources manager to write your
employee manuals?
NEW! Working with a professional graphic designer,
I now offer a turnkey package of logo design/branding, print
collateral or web site design! |
